Description:
This volume delves into the concept of consciousness and its integration into physical theories. It explores a unifying mechanism for fundamental processes within human beings that influence actions and behavior in the outer world. The book argues that the essence of life, combined with consciousness, can provide a viable framework for understanding both the physical world and human/non-human experiences.
The work presents the foundations of Vedanta philosophy, comparing its insights with objective science and other philosophical perspectives to clarify the classification of objects, inner and outer worlds, and associated experiences. It examines the theory of karma, contrasting Western and scientific views with the Vedantic perspective. Further discussions include human-machine interactions, the human connection with the physical world within the Vedantic framework, and the interactions between human and non-human beings.
Several new concepts are introduced for the first time, such as the dressing of essences of life with consciousness, the principle of minimum effort, a (3/2)-rule for the fragmentation of consciousness, the definition of a mindset function and its evolution, and the K-effect. The book highlights the limitations of modern science in explaining certain aspects of human behavior, making it an essential read for scholars, students, physicists, biologists, psychologists, and philosophers—especially those interested in the philosophy of science.
