Description

The SK Anil Tool Kit is a unique paper-based astrological tool designed to identify the inauspicious transit of different planets over specific Nakshatras based on a native's Birth Nakshatra. It helps astrologers quickly determine the Nakshatras affected by planetary transits and assess their potentially unfavorable results.

Using this tool kit, you can determine:

  • Lata Nakshatra
  • Upagraha
  • SMT (Special Malefic Transit)
  • 16th and 18th Nakshatras
  • 88th Nakshatra Pada

How to Use the Tool Kit

1. Lata Nakshatra

The tool consists of two circular paper charts. To determine the Lata Nakshatra, rotate the smaller circle and align the arrow marked "Birth Moon Star" with the native's Birth Nakshatra on the larger circle.

The planetary names will appear through the cut-out section of the smaller circle. The Nakshatra displayed directly above the corresponding planet on the larger circle indicates the Nakshatra where the transit of that planet is considered to produce unfavorable results.

This allows you to determine the Lata Nakshatras of the Sun and other planets for any Birth Nakshatra at a glance.

2. Upagraha

The positions of various Upagrahas are determined from the Birth Sun Nakshatra at the 5th, 8th, 14th, 18th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th Nakshatras.

To determine them, rotate the smaller circle until the Sun Upagraha (Sun) marker, located immediately to the right of the Birth Moon Star, is aligned with the Birth Sun Nakshatra on the larger circle.

The corresponding Upagraha positions will then automatically appear below the respective Nakshatras.

3. SMT (Special Malefic Transit)

SMT, or Special Malefic Transit, indicates two specific planets associated with each natal planet that can cause affliction to that planet.

The smaller circle contains SMT markers for the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu.

For example, if the Sun is placed in Ashwini Nakshatra in the birth chart, Rahu/Ketu at the 9th Nakshatra and Ketu at the 15th Nakshatra from the Sun's Nakshatra are considered to afflict the Sun.

To determine this using the tool, rotate the Sun SMT marker on the smaller circle and align it with the Birth Sun Nakshatra (Ashwini) on the larger circle. The corresponding SMT Nakshatras will then be displayed automatically.

The same process can be followed to determine the SMT positions for all other planets.

4. 88th Pada

The 88th Pada from the Birth Nakshatra Pada is considered highly unfavorable. Planetary transit or Vedha occurring over this Pada is traditionally considered to produce adverse results.

To determine the 88th Pada, align the arrow marked "Birth Moon Star" on the smaller circle with the native's Birth Nakshatra Pada.

The corresponding Pada will then be displayed through the cut-out section.

The 88th Pada is determined as follows:

  • Birth in 1st Pada: 88th Pada falls in the 4th Pada of the Moon's Lata Nakshatra.
  • Birth in 2nd Pada: 88th Pada falls in the 1st Pada of Jupiter's Lata Nakshatra.
  • Birth in 3rd Pada: 88th Pada falls in the 2nd Pada of Jupiter's Lata Nakshatra.
  • Birth in 4th Pada: 88th Pada falls in the 3rd Pada of Jupiter's Lata Nakshatra.
