About the Author
P.D. Sharma (born 1933) is a renowned academic who earned his MPA (Public Administration) and Ph.D. (Political Science) from the University of Minnesota, USA. He was a Fulbright Scholar in 1967 and served as the Head of the Departments of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Rajasthan. With over 40 years of teaching experience across various countries, he has made significant contributions to public administration and management studies. Sharma has also served as the Director of Poddar Institute of Management in Jaipur and has been a guest faculty at prestigious institutions like Mussoorie, Hyderabad, and Lucknow. He is highly regarded for his expertise in both Hindi and English and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by IIPA Delhi.
