Dr. K. M. Suresh (b. 1952) currently serves as the Director (Museum) at Kannada University, Hampi. He previously worked with the Archaeological Survey of India from 1976 to 1996 at various archaeological sites including Bijapur, Hampi, Aihole, Badami in Karnataka, and Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Suresh has also been an active fieldworker and excavator. He is a member of several academic societies and serves as a guide to Ph.D. scholars at Kannada University.
Prof. Laxman Telagavi (b. 1947) is a retired Professor of History specializing in Kannada History and Culture, as well as the Pelegars of Karnataka. He is a prominent authority on Chitradurga's History and Culture. He has edited books on Karnataka's judicial administration and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Sri Guru Ravidasaratna National Award (2003), Mahasanta Joyotiba Purle National Award (2005), and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Award (2006).
