QoR Watercolor Ground creates a highly absorbent surface that allows watercolor artists to work beyond traditional paper. It enables soft edges, smooth blends, and flowing wet-in-wet techniques while maintaining excellent control over pigment movement.

This versatile ground can be applied in multiple ways to achieve different textures. Brush application creates a subtle linen-like texture, rolling produces a dappled surface, and palette knife application results in a smooth, even finish. Once dry, the surface may also be lightly wet sanded to achieve a smoothness similar to hot press watercolor paper.
