About the Author
Nand Lal is a Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. He joined the department in 1981 after completing his post-graduation in Political Science from Allahabad University. With over a hundred published papers and articles, he is a well-recognized contributor to the academic community. He has authored five books and received the prestigious ‘Shiksha Ratna’ award in 2010 for his contributions to education. Nand Lal has also served as an expert member on various academic committees and boards.
