About the Author -
Dr Zubairul Islam is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Abuja in Nigeria. He has over 20 years of teaching and research experience, focusing on GIS and remote sensing-based research and projects. He holds a PhD in Geography and GIS Analysis from M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, India.
In addition to his academic work, Dr. Islam has industrial experience in 3D analysis of drone data and urban planning and has worked as GIS expert for Adigrat Structure Plan. He has also guided PhD students on various topics related to resource management, population dynamics, and land use and land cover change at the village level in Bareilly district.
