About the Book

This book represents the sociology of communities/groups created due to various forms of deprivation. It primarily analyzes the social, political, cultural, constitutional, and other related aspects of Dalits, Tribals, Women, and Dalit Women from different perspectives by various sociologists. While the book highlights the foundation of deprivation among different groups, it also presents a sociological viewpoint on how to break this deprivation. The book is divided into four parts:

  1. Ambedkar and Caste Abolition

  2. Indian Tribal Society

  3. Dalit History Writing

  4. Women Empowerment and Human Rights

This book offers a comprehensive framework for understanding the sociology of marginalized communities.
