The tale of Bobby and Linda is yet another story that is featured in this book. Bobby, a homosexual official, attends a conference in an African Great Lakes state which recently acquired its independence. Linda, on the other hand, is the wife of Bobby’s colleague, and embarks on a car ride back to the Government compound along with Bobby.
