About the Book
This groundbreaking book challenges Jacques Derrida’s view of literature by questioning his notion that literature and other disciplines are indistinguishable. The author argues that Derrida's deconstruction is rooted in a flawed understanding of language. Drawing on the works of prominent philosophers and linguists, the book makes a compelling case for a twofold division of language, offering a fresh perspective on literature and its relationship to other academic fields.

In defending literature, the author also indirectly defends logic and truth, which are often sidelined in the age of deconstruction. This work stands as a powerful plea for the importance of literature and its unique features that separate it from non-literary texts.

The book’s detailed analysis offers new insights into literary theory and criticism, providing a strong rebuttal to Derrida’s philosophical ideas. It is essential reading for anyone interested in literary studies, philosophy, and the ongoing debate around deconstruction.
