About the Book:

Story of Word is a translation of the Sahitya Akademi Award-winning Sindhi poetry collection Katha by Nand Javeri. This book does not adhere to conventional styles of poetry, making it a challenging read for those accustomed to more traditional forms. The poems in this collection delve into the evolution of thought, language, and spiritual traditions, offering a complex, philosophical, and intellectual exploration of the human experience.

Rather than focusing on the commonplace joys and sorrows of life, Story of Word engages with the mysteries of human existence, drawing from spiritual, philosophical, and cultural traditions. Many of the poems present themselves as the voice of a detached intellectual and spiritual observer, reflecting on the deeper meanings of life and thought.

This collection is for readers who are willing to grapple with the abstract and the profound, offering a fresh perspective on the complexities of human life.
