About the Author
Michael K. Le Roy is a professor of political science and the Executive Vice President and Dean of the Faculty at Whitworth University, Washington. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from Vanderbilt University and was a Fulbright scholar at Gothenburg University in Sweden. Le Roy has published research on civil society, xenophobia, and the European Union in journals like Comparative Politics. He is also the author of Comparative Politics: An Introduction (4th edition). Le Roy has received multiple teaching awards, including from Wheaton College and Pi Sigma Alpha, the American Political Science Association's honor society.
