Paniker has also edited Medieval Indian Literature and Encyclopaedia of Indian Literature. He has represented India on various international platforms and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Sahitya Akademi Award, Kerala Sahitya Academy Awards, Mahakavi Ulloor Award, and Kumaran Asan Award.
