About the Author / Editor:
P.D. Sharma is the former Head of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has earned his MPA and PhD degrees from the University of Minnesota, USA, and has served as a Visiting Professor of Non-Western Studies at Lineberger Centre, North Carolina. With extensive research in Police Administration and Public Administration, Dr. Sharma is a celebrated author of numerous books and research papers published worldwide.

B.M. Sharma, former Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Head of the Department of Political Science at University of Rajasthan, has authored over a dozen books and numerous articles. He is a recipient of various prestigious awards and honors, including the Govind Vallabh Pant, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, and B.R. Ambedkar Awards for his outstanding contributions to Public Administration.
