Dr. Prabash Sahu, born on 3 July 1968 in Odisha, holds a Post Graduate degree in Ancient Indian History, specializing in Archaeology from the University of Sambalpur, Odisha. He further pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi. During his tenure at the Archaeological Survey of India, he worked at the Archaeological Museum in Halebidu, Karnataka, and the Excavation Branch in Nagpur. Dr. Sahu completed his Ph.D. from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
With over sixteen years of service in the Archaeological Survey of India, he later joined the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture, and Archaeology at Nagpur University as an Associate Professor. He is an active member of numerous prestigious organizations such as IAS, SOSA, and RASI. His work spans over a dozen archaeological excavations and field investigations, and he has published numerous papers in both national and international journals. Dr. Sahu is also a frequent contributor to seminars and workshops, making significant contributions to the field of archaeology.
