Rather, it weaves together everything that has been lost, leaving them in one place to offer a unique and infinite taste. The poems reflect the poet's various moments and mental states. The book brings alive poignant images, such as Nira standing with her shawl spread out on a white balcony, or the profound dialogue of Socrates among the lively discussions at a coffee house. The book also captures moments of deep reflection, like meeting the mother of one's youth amidst the ashes at a crematorium. Love, in its most profound form, is intertwined with despair, loss, and hope.

About the Author:

Sunil Gangopadhyay was born on 7th September 1934 in Faridpur, Bangladesh.
