The author’s perspective on the dynamics of history reinterprets the life and death of Mahatma Gandhi, not as a mere episode in the milieu of traditional values but as a significant event that opens up new and unprecedented possibilities for the future of humankind. As an original and thought-provoking perspective, this work is sure to interest Gandhians, philosophers, and historians alike.

About the Author:

Philosopher Basanta Kumar Mallik (1879–1958) earned his MA in Philosophy from Calcutta University.
