Description:

Another masterpiece of the Singhi Series with Alfaanse

Renowned and legendary writer Ved Prakash Kamboj stands among the most celebrated figures of Hindi popular literature from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Born on December 1, 1939, in Shahdara, Delhi, he developed a passion for reading while assisting his father in their artifacts shop near the Red Fort.

His literary journey began with Indian folklore and religious texts, eventually leading him to detective fiction. He entered the literary world through the guidance of the celebrated author Om Prakash Sharma.

His first work, “Kangura,” published around 1957–58, was later republished after 62 years by Neelam Jasoos Karyalay. Over time, his novels were consistently published by Neelam Jasoos and Ratan & Company, and later by several publishers across Delhi and Meerut.

His long-standing association with Neelam Jasoos spans more than 60 years and continues even today. His highly popular Singhi and Alfaanse series gained immense popularity—so much so that counterfeit novels were published under his name, though such attempts ultimately failed.

Known for his simple personality and significant literary contributions, he also translated several world-famous works into Hindi, which were widely appreciated by readers.
