What is interesting is that in different narrations of the same stories found in various Puranas is that new insights or parts of the stories are found. For example, in the story of Bali Maharaja and Lord Vämana found here in this Purana, we find the original cause for Bali losing his kingdom-that he was cursed by his grandfather, Prahlada Maharaja, when the latter heard him blaspheme the Supreme Personality of Godhead.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEven though many of the stories found here are familiar to most of us, by reading these accounts, we fill in some of the blanks, so to speak.
