About the Author:
G. Satyanarayana has been a prominent academic figure in the field of Sociology, having served on the faculty of the Department of Sociology at Osmania University, Hyderabad, since 1978. He has held various important positions in government, such as Member of the A.P. College Service Commission, the State Minimum Wages Advisory Board, and the A.P. State Sainik Welfare Board. His research interests are diverse and include Rural Development, Social Movements, Women Studies, Agrarian Relations, and Conflict Studies.
Dr. Satyanarayana has contributed to several publications, including books on agrarian structures and displacement. He has participated in various international conferences in countries such as Spain, Germany, China, and Sweden, presenting papers on related topics. Currently, he is a Professor and Coordinator at Osmania University.
