Brustro Fixative & Satin Varnish is a permanent, non-yellowing spray varnish designed as a protective final coat for oil and acrylic paintings. It forms a clear, transparent layer that safeguards artwork from dust, grease, humidity, and harmful UV rays, helping to preserve colours and extend the life of the painting.
This varnish dries very quickly and provides a refined satin finish that sits perfectly between gloss and matte, offering a balanced, professional appearance without excessive shine or dullness. It is suitable for use by professional artists, art students, and studios.
The painted surface must be completely dry before application. For best results, shake the can vigorously for one minute to ensure even mixing. Spray vertically from a minimum distance of 25 cm and apply thin, fast coats to avoid dripping. Allow approximately five minutes between each coat for optimal results.
